You can now receive reports at regular intervals by making settings to receive predefined, custom and query reports in various formats. You can do this using the Scheduled Reports feature; Desktop Central’s latest feature.  The formats  that you can receive these in include:
  • CSV
  • XLS
  • PDF
This feature helps you save time as you do not need to view individual reports. You can schedule for them to be sent to you by e-mail at specific times. For example, you can create a  scheduled report and configure the settings so that you receive an e-mail about specific  custom reports and query reports that you have chosen, once a week. These reports  are automatically generated, compiled and sent to you by e-mail once every week.  You can also configure the settings so that the reports are sent by e-mail to more  than one person.

You receive scheduled reports in the following formats:

  • Attachment: You can receive the scheduled reports as an attachment in your e-mail  account.

  • Zipped file: In case you have selected a lot of reports to receive as a scheduled  report, you can receive these as a zipped file in your e-mail account.

  • URL: If the size of the reports exceeds the amount of megabytes that your mail server  settings allow, you can choose to publish the reports that you have selected on the  Desktop Central server and send the path to it using e-mail.
