Microsoft released their advance notification for January 2011 patch Tuesday. After a monster patch Tuesday last December, this seems to be relatively smaller with just 2 bulletins. Microsoft will release two bulletins on January 11, 2011 addressing three vulnerabilities.
- One bulletin that is rated as Important affects Windows Vista
- The other bulletin with aggregate rating as Critical affects all versions of Windows.
The Patch Assessment team at Desktop Central will test all the patches pertaining to these bulletins and update their central patch database at the earliest.
