Microsoft Releases Advance Notification for December 2010 Patch Tuesday

Microsoft released an advance notification  for their December 2010 patch Tuesday. Microsoft will release 17 new security bulletins on December 14th addressing 40 vulnerabilities. This is the biggest Patch Tuesday closely followed by their October 2010 Patch Tuesday with 16 bulletins.

  • Two bulletins that are rated as Critical.
  • 12 bulletins are rated as Important, and 
  • One bulletin is rated Moderate
The affected software includes,
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft SharePoint
