We recently made a couple of updates to our licensing structure based on feedback from users and partners. These changes are applicable to the Professional Edition of Applications Manager.
Here is a quick summary of the updates:
1. Option to buy 10 monitor licenses
We’re offering new licensing options for the Professional Edition, which previously started at 25 monitors. Users can now buy a 10-monitor license. The 10-monitor license costs $395/year for annual subscriptions.
The 10-monitor licensing option is useful for:

Users who want to start small before upgrading to a bigger deployment later on.

Free Edition users who want to try a paid account but have budget constraints.
2. Option to buy 500 monitor licenses
On the other end of the Professional Edition licensing spectrum, we have added an option for buying 500 monitor licenses at $10,995/year for annual subscriptions.
The 500-monitor licensing option is useful for:

Professional Edition customers who currently have a 250-monitor license subscription but want to add more monitors without going for a distributed architecture setup.

Users who cannot invest in managed servers or allocate systems for managed servers but still want to scale their deployment.

Yes. These options are available in both subscription and perpetual license models.
6. Are these licensing changes applicable to the APM plugin for OpManager?
Yes. Both these changes are applicable to the APM plug-in also. You can view APM plug-in pricing at our online store.
7. How can I try the Professional Edition?
You need to download a free, 30-day trial to get started. At the time of installation, you can choose between the Professional or Enterprise Edition in the installation wizard.
This updated structure has added more flexibility to our licensing model. Users now have additional purchasing choices at the higher and lower ends. We believe these changes will be useful to businesses with relevant use cases.
