Microsoft Releases Advance Notification for Out-of-Band Release for September 2012

Microsoft released their advance notification for one Out-Of-Band Security Bulletin. Microsoft will release updates addressing Vulnerability in Internet Explorer could allow remote code execution as well as four other Critical-class remote code execution issues on 21 Sep 2012.

Once the bulletin is released, the Patch Assessment team at Desktop Central will test all the patches pertaining to these bulletins and update their central patch database at the earliest.

    How long will it take for your team to test the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (2744842) patch?

      Hi Alen,

      It is 24 hours from the time of Microsoft’s release for the Security Patches and 48 hours for the Non Security Patches.
