Advance Notification of Microsoft Patch Tuesday for September 2010

Microsoft released an advance notification for their September 2010 patch Tuesday. Microsoft will release 9 security bulletins on September 14th addressing 13 vulnerabilities. 

  • Seven of the bulletins affect Windows; of those, two are rated as Critical and five are rated as Important.
  • One bulletin, which is rated as Critical, affects both Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • One bulletin, which is rated as Critical, affects Microsoft Office.
The Patch Assessment team at Desktop Central is getting ready for this patch tuesday and hoping to update these new patches to their online patch database at the earliest.
