We are now officially “Vista Capable” as well. We have also included support for Oracle 10.1.3 and enabled restricted access to monitor groups for managers. All this and much more in Appmanager 8.3!
Hi Pete,
In version 8.3, the scheduled job monitoring is disabled by default. Hence, you are not able to get any reports/alerts. I would suggest you to go to Admin tab, go to Performance Polling where you will find MS SQL tab and click the check box given below and save the configuration. If you have further questions do contact support@appmanager.com and it would be great if you could send us some screenshots to help us solve the problem.
I’m not sure what I’ve done, or if I’m going mad?! Since the upgrgade, I’m unable to find SQL jobs in the monitor anymore?
We had a couple that were failing on a server, they still fail after the upgrade, and display in the Health, yet there’s no way to access them within the SQL monitor anymore?
Deleted and reinstalled the SQL monitor for that box, now it’s all clear, no job errors, or access to the jobs! Yet they still failing.
Does version 8.3 remove scheduled job monitoring in the SQL monitor?! Surely not?
Much appreciated
Pete
