Is ADSL 2+ good for VoIP?

There was a 'big' blog thread running on the GigaOm and FierceVoIP blog. The contention of this was to understand whether ADSL 2+ is harmful for VoIP or is it beneficial.
Reading blogs like this one, can give the essence of blogging / social networking. What I enjoyed most was the comments part of both these blog thread, the comments brought out more issue and both sides of coin in an interesting way.
After going through lots of comments the editor-in-chief of FierceVoIP, Dan Rosenbaum, came up with his editorial, which almost cleared the doubts. Looking forward to more such ?interesting? blogs.
