Two-hundred and seventy customers braved the cold this October to attend our Chicago User Conference. Quite a few were new customers, and some hadn’t even deployed the products yet but were trying to get a head start before purchasing a few solutions early next year. The crowd was so big that we actually had to use a drone for the group photo:
Our User Conferences are so much more than a numbers game, but here are some impressive stats that we had to share:
- 100+ one-on-ones led to many happy customers
- 44 ManageEngine staff members flew out for the event
- 45 in-depth sessions covered most of our products
One customer was so pleased with the conference that she emailed us her feedback before Day 2 was even over:
“This has been one of the best conferences I have attended, and I look forward to implementing many of the features I have learned. The ManageEngine team is AMAZING.”
Other customers echoed that this was one of the best conferences they had been to in years.
“The dedication of the ManageEngine team, their presentation, and product reviews were a welcome change from attending other conferences that are mostly sales pitches.”
This was my third User Conference, and I’ve got to say it was one of the most energetic ones I’ve attended. Attendees donned their favorite sports team’s jersey during the networking hour on Day 1, and many customers played our oversized Jenga and Connect 4 games like they’d been doing it for years. Our giant Lite-Brite and ManageEngine-branded fanny packs (my personal favorite) made many attendees nostalgic for the 80s—except maybe not those early command line UIs.
By the end of Day 2, at least a dozen customers had told me they were excited to take all the features they learned about at the conference back to their organizations. The in-depth product sessions made many attendees realize that they had barely scratched the surface in terms of what the products can do. One customer said their one-on-one was, “Exceptional. Full of information to implement in-house.” That’s proof that if you’re looking to maximize your IT investment, buying a ticket for one of our User Conferences is a great place to start.
