Opmanager 7 Service Pack 1 released

First things First –

Following are the new features that have made an entry into this release:

  1. VMware Monitoring as an add-on
  2. Discover devices by importing from a CSV file.
  3. Process monitoring on Windows Servers and Desktops.
  4. Web-alarm enabling users to be notified of a fault.
  5. Determining device availability using TCP Port checks.
  6. Provision to add a device directly into a category.
  7. Provision to add custom links to devices for ready reference.
  8. Provision to select a time-window for a notification to be sent.
  9. Exporting reports to XLS file format.

Kindly Note: This service pack can be applied over build number 7010 or higher and it is a consolidation of all the hotfixes released over OpManager 7 so far.

    and Please do check this link
    for details on how to upgrade from your current version of Opmanager

    You had mentioned that you have installed on an evaluation version of Opmanager, could you please find the “Build Number” the same can be found by login on Opmanager and click on “About” link which is on the top right corner.

    I have feeling that you already have an updated version i.e the latest evaluation version installed or you have installed version 6 of Opmanager for which you first need to upgrade to 7 by choosing the right service packs.
    It would be great if you address your issues it on forums or mail your issues to support

    Tried to install on eval version using Advent UpdateManager and got the message “The file that you have specified is not compatible with this product”

    I’ve downloaded the SP twice with same result. Any ideas?
