Flight of the Tiger

Despite the numerous examples that I have witnessed myself, I am astounded every day by the diverse user types to whom OpManager has appealed. Reading through one of our users- the Australian Aerospace Limited , provided food for my interest in ‘the flying machines’ all over again.

Australian Aerospace happens to be the successful prime contractor for the Air 87 Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) Project with EuroCopter Tiger. It may be remebered that the Eurocopter Tiger made its first major public appearence in the 1995 James Bond movie “GoldenEye”.

With the upgraded MTR390 engines as well as a laser designator incorporated in the Strix sight for the firing of Hellfire II air-to-ground missiles, ARH uses the 70 mm(2.75Inch) rockets developed in Belgium.

Over two decades in the making- the flying Tiger stands tall and mean… shaken, but not stirred!
