With the availability of a monitoring solution, administrators and managers need to have constant updates about the network uptime and so reports about the bandwidth and traffic usage through critical links is a necessity. You may need to present a daily, weekly or monthly report on the top traffic through an interface, about the top users of traffic to a enterprise server, information about hosts involved with an application traffic and so on.
NetFlow Analyzer product lets you get detailed statistics about an interface, a group of interfaces, load balanced links or even application traffic, server traffic and so on through various features like interface reporting, interface group, IP Group and such. But, having to log in into the product to generate daily report with customized criteria is not a fun task. Help comes in the form of schedule reports in NetFlow Analyzer.
Schedule option lets users create reports about the information they need and have them emailed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The reports can be send to multiple email addresses and users can set time filters for daily reports and exclude the reporting on weekends.
consolidated schedule report
You can create reports as a consolidated one which gives information about the top 10 users for the interface or IP group with time filter and weekends excluded. Schedules can also be created with custom criteria instead of having to use a search report each time. Say, you need to monitor traffic from and to the mail server on a weekly basis to see the type of traffic involved, you can create a custom report for the same and associate it with the interface that carries traffic to the mail server.
Customized schedule report
The reports will be send to the email address specified and additionally the daily reports for up to 90 days, weekly reports for up to 2 years and monthly reports for a year can be stored in the product itself for future reference. It does not end there, the options provided lets you choose if the reports have to be send as individual PDF reports or in a single email and you can choose either to show either speed or utilization in the reports send.
