As the IT operations environment grows increasingly intricate, businesses are starting to recognize the significance of a flawless customer experience. Customer expectations are getting higher by the day, to the point where organizations cannot afford even a few minutes of downtime or service degradation. To prevent this, they need to avoid outdated methods of operations and prevent downtime-causing issues proactively.
To ensure their customer experience stays at the top, organizations are adopting various solutions to enhance their IT operations. Presently, observability, AIOps, and cloud migration are some of the ITOM trends that are receiving significant attention.
We at ManageEngine ITOM recently conducted a survey among over 470 IT admins, engineers, CIOs, and CTOs to gather their thoughts on these ITOM trends and their plans for addressing them in the current year. The survey also aimed to uncover the obstacles they face while navigating these trends.
One of the major findings of the survey was that despite organizations being interested in as well as recognizing the importance of observability and AIOps, more than half the respondents stated that they lacked understanding and familiarity around AIOps and observability.
Some of the other key findings from the survey include:
-
45% of organizations will focus on implementing observability and AIOps in 2023.
-
71% of large enterprises are focused on providing a superior digital experience for customers.
-
50% of small and medium-sized enterprises struggle with adopting a clear strategy for implementing AIOps.
-
83% of large enterprises will prioritize their move to the cloud in 2023.
We’ve presented the results of our survey in the form of an infographic.
