Instead, sysadmins should have the option of selecting and restoring specific objects that they think might be affected. Granular control over which attributes of the object have to be restored is an added asset to any AD backup and recovery solution.

The most inconvenient part of recovering objects back to the AD environment is the downtime it causes. Until the backed up objects have been recovered, the whole IT infrastructure becomes stationary.
