Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, the latest operating systems from Microsoft, have brought some sweeping changes to the traditional Windows PC. The operating systems have been developed with a view to support both traditional desktops and modern mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones.
In our continuous effort to deliver the best of self-service password management to our customers, we have released the latest version of ADSelfService Plus (version 4.5 build 4590) with support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
With this support, ADSelfService Plus Client Software is now compatible with Windows 8. Henceforth, users can reset their forgotten passwords and unlock their locked out accounts right from the logon screen of their Windows 8 machines.
Moreover, now it is also possible to configure Windows Server 2012 domains with ADSelfService Plus.
