Well we have a news to share...Hello Users,
FacilitiesDesk has released its ServicePack 5500 for 5200, 5201 and 5202
New Features in this release are:
o Hopping from FacilitiesDesk to ServiceDesk plus is made easy now for the technician who handles both the system
o When a user or supervisor wants to lodge a request to “ServiceDesk Plus” while they are logged in FacilitiesDesk, maintenance request form will have the necessary fields to route their ServiceDesk request to ServiceDesk Plus [provided the ServiceDesk Plus settings are incorporated in FacilitiesDesk]
Below are are fixes in this ServicePack Build 5500
1. Issue on Product Type Additional Fields has been fixed. Now the user will be able to get all his Meter Reading History while modifying Product Type Additional Fields as changes are made in Meter Type
2. Issue in Quick link open has been fixed
3. Issue in Pass through authentication in Single sing on is fixed
4. Add requester issue in maintenance form search has been fixed
Apart from these feature FacilitiesDesk 5 has localized versions available in Spanish and Russian

ReadMe: HotFix2 for FacilitiesDesk 5200 and 5201 Released (Build No: 5202)
Below are new functionality in Build 5202 and hence its not just usual "Hot" Fix:
Here is the first step to integrate FacilitiesDesk and ServiceDesk. Requesters need not login to both the systems to raise a maintenance request. Based on the nature of their issue they can select either FacilitiesDesk or ServiceDesk in the non-login form and send their issue to the respective teams.
Print Pre-View Customization:
Choose your desired fields to be present in the print-preview rather than printing exhaustive completed forms

Many more trivial issues were also fixed apart from these to improve the working of FacilitiesDesk. Hope you now have excellent usability experience.

Hi All,
As mentioned in one of my earlier posts...before bringing up the next big release of Facilities we have done the hotfixes of our FacilitiesDesk 4.
Yes, the HotFix for FacilitiesDesk (Build No.4001) over FacilitiesDesk 4 is released. This hotfix build can be applied over build number 4000 and it is a consolidation of all the hotfixes over FacilitiesDesk 4 so far.
Following are the Issues fixed in this Hot fix:
There were many more issues fixed which are relatively less critical but put together will improve the usability of the product. Try out this Build and as always, we eagerly await the feedback - bats first, and the bouquets next :-)
