We are happy to announce the Desktop Central Free Windows Tools Release 1.2. This new release has a new tool called Join/Unjoin Computer Tool. This utility move a computer from one domain to another or from a domain to a workgroup or from a workgroup to a domain. It also provides the ability to restart the computer after this operation. The status of the operation is also displayed at the bottom of the window.

Hi, I want to use the join/unjoin computer tool to take my computer out of one domain and move it to another. My question is will it move my profile to the new domain or will I get a new one once I login, which means I will have to login as local admin and move my old profile to the new profile? Thanks, Luu
Hi Luu, Join/Unjoin Computer tool changes the DNS settings of the computer to New Domain using the admin privileges. It doesn't create / move user profiles. Hence, you have to login as local admin to move your old profile to new profile. regards, Kingsley Reuben Desktop Central Team
