You are having your scheduled maintenance of your servers / you do not want to monitor your servers during sundays or for any random time period. The problem: Alerts are generated for a known downtime.

You can beat the situation by easily configuring the known downtime using the downtime scheduler.

Go to Admin tab -> click on Downtime Scheduler (under tools)

Follow the steps given in this help link

OK..Now you are all set to turn off monitoring during unwanted time periods.
